The European Chain reaction is a European Quality Label winning eTwinning project that was first organised in 2011. The project is a contest and a European collaboration between primary schools from as many as possible European countries. In the contest primary schools compete for the honour and a nice trophy: Which country builds and films the most astonishing and creative Rube Goldberg / Robert Storm Petersen chain reaction? The competing children are the only judges in this game!

Congratulations to Sweden! Last year you were one single point away from the first place. This year you are the winner with a good margin! Good work from students and teachers! Well deserved!
Great! Congratulations to Sweden! Congratulations to all of us! It is not easy work to make a chain reaction but it is so creative and interesting! And a very big chellenge! Thanks for the wonderful final video!!! I hope we will meet again in the next year!
Contrats Sweden. So nice to see all those vieos.
Team Belgium wants to congratulate Anneli and Team Sweden on winning ECR2023! Your victory is very well deserved! We enjoyed your chain very much, especially the fountain of coca cola was extremely cool! 😉 So we want to give all of our best to the very clever pupils creating this excellent Rube-Goldberg-Machine! Rube would be very proud of you, I’m very sure!
Congratulations to all other participants as well! You all made excellent chains and I'm sure you learned a lot from it! I hope you had as much fun as we did building our chain! ;-)
Let's meet again in ECR2024!
